Every participant is unique. Whether you join an intimate session or a larger group workshop, I create a safe and personal environment where you are central.
Through my experience in guiding both small and larger groups, I know how to create space for individual attention within any setting.


 


Personal Guidance

During my workshops, I provide clear explanations and practical instruction. You are guided step by step through breathing techniques and cold exposure, including entering the ice bath.
Whether it's your first experience or you already have experience, I offer 1-on-1 guidance where needed — even within larger group settings.



About Me

My name is Gijs van den Brink — certified Wim Hof Method instructor and founder of Kokoro Breath.

After years of working in a demanding and fast-paced environment, I realized how important it is to truly slow down. Breath, cold and nature brought me back to my core. From that experience, the desire grew to help others reconnect with themselves as well.

In 2025, I consciously sought silence. During a solo weekend in the Veluwe, I spent 24 hours alone in nature — without a phone, clock, food or distractions. In complete stillness and unity with my surroundings, I experienced a deep reconnection with who I truly am. A profound moment of being.

I also participated in the Wim Hof Winter Expedition in Poland, where I learned the power of stepping outside the comfort zone — mentally and physically. Additionally, I spent a week in the rugged wilderness of Sweden, living and surviving in nature together with a group: sleeping in tents, cooking on fire, and living with what nature provides. These experiences deepened my love for nature and for a more pure, grounded way of living.

With Kokoro Breath, I combine my passion for breathwork, cold exposure and nature immersion into accessible and transformative workshops and retreats. I guide both small and larger groups in a safe, personal and respectful way.
My goal is to help you reconnect with yourself — creating more calm, energy and connection — with yourself, with others and with nature.

Workshops

During my workshops, you will learn the Wim Hof Method in a safe and relaxed setting.
We work with breathing techniques, cold exposure (ice bath) and mindset.

You will receive practical explanations, experiential moments, and space for questions and reflection.

The workshops are suitable for both beginners and advanced participants.
